What to do when restrained to a $150 budget? Mason jars are a fabulous, inexpensive source for glass that add a touch of design to your floral. Perfect for a backyard wedding or barbecue. I used white hydrangeas, spider mums, gerber daisies, lilies, and bright yellow sunflowers. Very affordable for a lot of impact. Carottes!
My final challenge was to create as 'low profile' of an arrangement as possible to enhance the dinner conversation. I still wanted the appearance of a very full bouquet, which required careful stem placement.
Lime and Fuchsia
Gorgeous lime, white, and fuchsia flowers were the perfect combination for a fashionable bridal shower. Flowers filled the lovely space, creating a lush environment to showcase the blushing bride-to-be!

White Wedding
I recently designed a backyard wedding reception. The theme was 'White Wedding' as the bride and groom love the Billy Idol song, and we thought it would look lovely out on the patio near the pool. I arranged the flowers on a budget with white hydrangeas, callas, baby's breath, green spider mums and limes. We used ceramic 'love birds' as table decor, and placed white citronella on all of the tables as well. The overall effect of the various tones of white and off-white was stunning. And white linens are a snap to rent!
We selected small plates, and bite sized desserts to help the party flow and encourage movement. The food was a hit, and delicious.Let me help you plan your next event or party in the Kansas City area.
